I just lost hours of work, because this app is absolutely awful. DO NOT waste your money, time, or hard work. I have never hated an app so much in my entire life. It is so, so, so inexplicably horrible. It should not even be allowed in the App Store. God, I freaking hate this app. If there was a God, they would most certainly not punish all of humanity with this app. Not even Satan could come up with something so horrendous and evil. Satan would be sitting there in the fiery pits of the underworld thinking, “What could I add to Hell to torture all these a**holes?” Imagine it now: Satan sitting there on his red a** throne, flames leaping up all around him, lapping at his face, singing his mustache slightly. As he sits there, putting all of his inner darkness to good use formulating a plan to create the greatest monstrosity our universe has ever known, with a mildly strained look cemented on his Donald Trump Orange face, his thoughts are interrupted by a new arrival: the creator of this app. He drags his eyes upwards to meet the new arrival, and, as a slow sneer spreads across his face, he chuckles sadistically. “What have you done to grace me with your presence,” Satan asks sarcastically. “I created Voice Memos+, and actually allowed that piece of sh*t app to be sold on the App Store,” Satan’s newest resident replies. “Oh, dear Hades. The Dark Ruler is here. You have done what I have failed at time and time again. You have created the most odious, diabolical invention known in this realm, or any realm, for that matter. Have mercy, please,” Satan begs, raising his hands slowly in submission as he steps away from his throne, making room for the true ruler of the underworld. F**k this app.

I like this application, it use to work well, but now, for some reason, I can’t transfer the recording into itune to listen them. I try different type of application to listen my recording, but nothing work. I need a little help here.

Nice job, I recommend this app

As it stands now, it is perfect for anyone who wants to do basic recording. There aren’t any bells or whistles, yet it has everything you need to simply make the recording, name it, share it (email, messages and airdrop) or even save the file to folders on your HD. Update: after actually testing this out in a classroom setting I am fairly disappointed…it turns out that the playback quality (macbook air built-in speakers or headphones) is very poor, even when sitting in the front row of class. This was true in 3 separate classrooms all with very different accoustics. Update 2: I just updated to version 1.1…developers purporting better audio playback. I’m using a new (2013) macbook air with mavericks and the audio quality playback with the new version has not improved. I get the impression (based on the lack of improved performance) that the developers just threw out a “blank” improvement to hide my negative comment in the “old” reviews section.

I have only used this program twice, the first time it worked great and the second time I used it, today, it recorded my entire lecture and then froze during the saving process. I left it for 6 hours hoping it would still save but eventually had to shut down my computer and force close it…and lost my entire test review recording…not sure if I want to rely on this for important stuff.

DO NOT BUY THIS APP. IT HAS FAILED DURING THE SAVING PROCESS EVERY TIME I’VE USED IT. I HAVE LOST AT LEAST 5 INTERVIEWS THAT I CAN NEVER GET BACK. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST RECORDING APP YOU COULD EVER USE.

It works (Yosemite), and it’s got a nice icon.
